DUMARAO, Capiz — Our Lady of the Snows Institute, the only
Archdiocesan school in Dumarao, Capiz,
garnered hundreds of thousand pesos from the alumni attendees on its Grand
Alumni Homecoming Night, Feb. 23, 2013, Saturday evening at Dumarao
Civic Center. The program was held to raise funds for OLSI building that was
razed by fire three years ago.
There was a live band
accompanied by SB Ariel Hallarda’s sponsored minisound.
Rvin Martino and Queen Ann Fungot
were the masters of the ceremony.
Hon Leslie Warren Benjamin,
incumbent municipal mayor, gave his message and said that this year’s motto is
a call for all alumni.
Message was heard from Ms. Mita Carmen Haguisan, OLSI Alumni
Association president, gave her opening remarks.
Rev. Fr. Bobby Rommel Estrellan, school director, assured all the alumni that he
will help OLSI until his last term during his speech. “OLSI became part of your
life… OLSI will also become part of my life,” he said. He also excerpted that
all alumni have to work altogether for the construction of OLSI building.
SB Mateo Hachuela an SB Abel Padernal and the province of Capiz first lady, Mrs. Fatima Tanco,
who later gave her message, were also present in the event.
