One of the most awaited part of OLSI Foundation Week Celebration was the Pinoy Pop Music Idol Season 2 Grand Finals. It was scheduled on Feb. 27, 2012, 2:00PM, at Our Lady of the Snows Institute's quadrangle. The program started with an opening prayer led by Ms. Marites Palma after the singing of "Lupang Hinirang" conducted by Ms. Cecilia Hidrosollo. The finalists - John Paul Aguillon, Jenie Rose Barrios, Pearl Blossom Jagonio, Rachelle Nacanan and Cassandra Marcelino - seemed nervous when they started to be in stage. The emcees, the OLSI faculty members, Mr. Romeo Bacalangco and Ms. Manilyn Flores, welcomed the respective panel of judges who were from the faculty of Dumarao Central School - Mrs. Roochie Villalva, Ms. Leovilie Hiñola and Mrs. Eden Hermo. Resty John Palete, PPMI Season 1 Grand Champion, read the criteria of judging.

Pearl Blosson Jagonio was first to sing a song. Her chosen song was "The Gift of a Friend". She was followed by Jenie Rose Barrios who sang "Hulog ng Langit". Meanwhile, Aguillon sang "Too Much Love Will Kill You" preceded by Cassandra Marcelino's "Dahil Minahal Mo Ako". The Sarah-like style of Nacanan’s “To Love You More” also brought life the program.

After the song performances of the finalists, OLSI Glees, Queen Ann Fungot and Macdee Marie Aliperio gave their intermission number on a duet song "Unbroken" before the PPMI Season 1 2nd runner-up, Oscar Lui Hallarda on his song "Stand-up for Life". Resty John Palete sang "No Boundaries" after the PPMI Season 1 1st runner-up, Rhejed Ponce on her "Because You Love Me".

The breathtaking part of the show was the elimination round. Only 3 will remain and 2 was expected to be evicted. Jagonio was first called by the emcees to step forward. Luckily, she was in.  Nacanan, Aguillon,
Barrios and Marcelino, remained on stage. Then the emcee told the latter two to take their final vow.

Safe finalists were Jagonio, Nacanan and Aguillon. They were told to sing their second song. Jagonio sang "Joy of Hearts"; Nacanan, "Sa Isang Pangarap" and Aguillon, "Carry".

On the awarding ceremony, we the quadrangle became silent. Rev. Fr. Randy A. Guarino, the School Director was the person vested to announce ranks of the finalists.

At the end, Nacanan was blessed with 3rd place; Jagonio, 2nd placer and the newest Pinoy Pop Music Idol Season 2 Grand Champion was Aguillon.

The awards of the finalists was given on Feb. 29, evening, on the highlight event of OLSI 46th Foundation Week Celebration, "'Pari Nyo, Kupido Nyo' Concert".
